GNX Wind Instrument
The GNX Wind gives you the wind data you need to make informed decisions. Featuring an easy-to-read, bonded glass, monochrome, backlit (customizable color) LCD display, GNX Wind interfaces with the NMEA 2000 network to display two data fields and a digital compass rose along with apparent and true wind data, directional data, boat speed and more. Since it consumes little power, 350 mW during the day without backlighting and 400 mW at night with a medium backlight level, it is particularly suitable for use on a sailboat. Customizable user settings allow you to configure the screen layout to your preferred settings. Screen settings include over 15 important marine parameters for wind, speed and navigation. It can also connect wirelessly to a quatix® 3 connected GPS marine watch via ANT® technology to broadcast wind data directly to your wrist.
gWind Wireless 2 Sensor
The gWind Wireless 2 sensor is an easy-to-install solution that eliminates the need to run cables along the mast up to 50 feet (15 m). Accurate wind measurements are sent via an ANT connection directly to a GNX Wind instrument or compatible plotter Garmin GPSMAP®. The sensor incorporates the Nexus dual fin design and features a 3-blade propeller, which provides accurate wind speed data and a stable wind angle in light wind conditions.
GNX 20 Navigation Instrument
The GNX 20's easy-to-read display, with black numbers on a white or colored background, clearly shows depth, boat speed, water temperature and more than 50 marine environment and boat parameters via the NMEA 2000 network. Customizable user settings allow you to choose from 5 display configurations available for sailboat or speedboat profiles: single, dual and triple function, gauge and graph display mode to show wind, depth and speed data. You can also customize the pages to display the data that matters most to you about the marine environment and your boat. Its bonded glass display and anti-reflective lens coating provide excellent day and night readability, with high-contrast digits up to 36 mm in size. The unit consumes only 25 mA/350 mW during the day (without backlight) and only 400 mW at night, when the backlight is set to a medium level.
Airmar DST810 Through-Hole Smart Probe
The DST810 sensor combines depth, speed and temperature data with boat tilt data to provide heel/trim and pitch/roll information to the NMEA 2000® network and the GNX 20 instrument. This multi-sensor transducer operates up to 100 m (330 ft) and emits a fast 5 Hz signal to calculate surface speed. It operates at 235 kHz and has a 10 x 44 degree fan beam. In addition, wireless connectivity to Bluetooth® equipped devices allows the DST810 to be calibrated directly through the Airmar Cast application. Advanced velocity calibration allows for calibration at different heel angles and speeds.
