Description
The M285HW Airmar probe is glued to the inside of the hull at a 25° angle.
The high-frequency band operates over a range of 150 to 250 kHz and a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high-frequency band offers superior shallow-water performance, bottom detail and fish-target separation. The remaining wide beam offers twice the coverage for fish detection in the upper water column and clear fish arcs on the screen compared to most high-frequency narrow-beam transducers.
What's more, the M285HW includes a plastic mounting base that is aligned with the centerline and secured inside the hull. It is then filled with non-toxic antifreeze.
Features:
The M285HW probe Airmar features:
Depth only
1 kW power
High frequency: 150 to 250 kHz
Constant beamwidth of 25°
Maximum depth of 152 m (500′)
100 kHz total bandwidth from one transducer
Cover the popular fishing frequency of 200 kHz plus everything else in the bandwidth
Recommended for use on planting and moving hulls
Plastic transducer and mounting base
The plus of the M285HW Airmar:
CHIRP technology provides increased resolution and noise reduction for even easier data reading. You'll get an even more detailed picture on your handset or fishfinder.
The main advantage of a hull-integrated transducer is the absence of protruding features on the outside of the hull, making it the ideal choice for towed or lifted boats. Designed for small boats up to 11 m (36′)
