The AV8000 Reel is a large, compact baby reel that is suitable for both long-range installation and a short rod. The tapered reel allows frictionless casting and the depth capacity means that loading with a thick line is an option. The AV8000 is equipped with a fast front brake system that allows the free spool to be switched from resistance to resistance in less than one turn. The 7 ball bearings and 1 stainless steel ball bearing not only give the AV8000 a silky feel and incredible performance, but also contribute to increased life and durability. The AV8000 comes with a CNC machined aluminum handle with an ergonomic soft touch rubberized grip that provides extra starting power and grip. Other features include a large-diameter pull arm, stainless steel shaft, heavy-duty hood and rotor, custom brake switch and user-friendly line attachment, all of which make the AV8000 a system designed to withstand any situation.
