Tip action and progressive blank curve are two key factors for a specialized trout fishing rod, so we decided to revamp the Shimano SPECIAL PROGRESSIVE blanks from the successful Antares rod series and adapt them to modern trout lure fishing techniques. The blanks are constructed with lightweight and responsive Nano + HPC100 carbon and have moderately fast and quick action tapers. The metallic forest green blanks feature elegant gunsmoke components: the Fuji Alconite K and KR anti-tangle series combined with the new Seaguide XVS ergonomic reel seat, nestled in a traditional cork handle with specific lengths for optimal balance and casting agility.
