The Yasei Zander Vertical Jig is specially designed for fishing with soft lures or fireballs from boats, kayaks or float tubes. This rod is ultra responsive and sensitive, which is a must for these types of fishing. Often, these qualities produce a very stiff blank that takes all the fun out of the fight. But with the new Yasei Zander Vertical Jig rods, we took a lot of time to develop the perfect blank, and we're very proud of the result! It's got amazing sensitivity, crazy responsiveness and a perfect fighting action. The front of the EVA handle is tapered to allow you to place a finger on the blank during fishing action, increasing sensitivity tenfold so you never miss a bite. The first thing you notice when you pick it up is its weight: only 101 grams for the Spinning version and 103 grams for the Casting. These rods are made for rigs up to 28 grams, excluding the weight of the soft lure/bait. So you can fish everywhere: fast rivers, deep pools or even pelagic in big lakes.
