Edges Running Safety Clips have an exclusive insert that fits into the body of the clip. When a fish bites the clip, the clip disengages from this insert but remains on the line in a sliding mode. This prevents the fish from trying to use the weight of the lead to break free of the hook, and prevents you from losing the lead with every bite.

• Lead clip assembly for self-hooking and then switching to sliding mode
• Supplied with: 5 x staples, rubber sleeves, inserts, T-pins, tether swivels rapide
• The attachment swivel rapide is held in the insert by the T-pin
• The insert is then pushed into the staple
• The rubber sleeve holds the lead in place
• Once hooked, the fish cannot use the weight of the lead to free itself
• The insert gives just enough grip on the sinker to keep it in place
• This set-up allows for much less lead loss
• It is completely safe, because once released, the lead becomes freely sliding
