- Semiconductor Battery Protectors: The powertector battery protector is a semiconductor device that monitors the battery voltage and switches off the battery power supply if the battery voltage falls below a pre-programmed threshold. This ensures that there is always enough voltage left in the battery to stop a vehicle's engine or to guarantee the availability of energy in the battery for other critical applications
- Fully discharging a lead-acid battery can cause damage to its cells, significantly shortening the life of the battery. The powertector can also be programmed to give the equipment a lower voltage that will still protect the battery from a full discharge while allowing maximum battery usage. A timed version is available, which allows automatic switch-off after a programmed time after the contact is cut off. There are six modes in the range covering 10a to 200a. The 10a and 20a modes offer a simple system, usually to a specific equipment.
- These two modes do not require chassis mounting and are easily connected with clamps to the entire wiring system. Modes 40a and 60a connect with m6 brass clamp nuts, modes 100a and 200a with m10 brass clamp nuts, and use a three-point mounting system to prevent any wobble or manual stress to the electronics when mounted on irregular surfaces.
- Heat is dissipated through our special housing and all modes operate at full power without the need for additional heat sinks. Alarm & Donation time function: An alarm output is provided, which when the minimum voltage threshold is reached for 10 seconds, will trigger either an audible alarm or any other informational device for an additional 50 seconds prior to donation.

Time versions: In addition to the standard powertector products, the pt-t versions offer a time function. This function turns off the output after a certain period of time following the ignition stop. During this time period, if necessary, the voltage is still checked and output if it falls below a fixed value in order to protect the battery and the system.
