TheAventus F1 Kit is our specially designed F1 top kit option. More court than the autres models in the Aventus range, it is perfectly suited to this style of fishing. Shorter kits have several advantages for F1/commercial fishing. Thanks to the shorter length, fish end up much closer to the net, improving fishing and landing efficiency.
The tip size of 4.7 mm makes it the perfect top kit for fishing elastics for fine to medium rods. The Aventus F1 kit is made up of two sections and is ready to fish - Section 1 is the thinner section and is pre-bushed with a premium PTFE internal bushing, which has an internal diameter of 2.75 mm, perfect for fine to medium rod elastics, up to size 16 MAX. Section 2 features a carbon strip located 30 cm from the base of the section, which has been specially designed to facilitate rubber band extraction. In our tests, we found that this positioning of the carbon band was optimal for elastic performance. However, if you choose not to use a side puller and prefer a traditional bunghole, you can also do so by passing through the base of this second section.
Most F1-style kits come as a single piece of carbon, ours are two pieces, which makes the kit much stiffer than a single piece of carbon, as the second section of the F1 kit is a higher modulus carbon, making the Aventus Sky F1 kit much stiffer than the autres models available. In tests, we also found that having a two-piece F1 kit significantly improved elastic performance.
The Aventus F1 kit is available in natural black carbon, but we also offer a Sky F1 kit which has been specially designed for shallow-water fishing on commercials.
