Lightweight, stiff C-40X long-strand carbon fiber in the body, side plates and rotor provides extra strength where it's needed most. The machined aluminum handle screws directly to the reel for maximum security and stability. The high-performance 7HPB +1RB ball bearing system allows the reel to run smoothly in both fresh and coastal waters thanks to the precision-machined brass pinion. The 2-tone anodized machined aluminum spool is surrounded byOkuma 's rotor Cyclonic Flow system which increases air flow through the perforated rotor, increasing drying time and minimizing corrosion throughout the reel. The spool houses the multi-disc carbon fiber drag system with a hydro-blocking seal that keeps water out and your drag running smoothly.
