The new range of Dark Kamo Compac rod holders has been designed to keep your expensive rods and reels in the best possible condition during transport, while being practical and allowing you to fit and store them as quickly as possible!
After many years of testing and development by a variety of top anglers, we're pleased to have designed the best possible rod holders and included all the features any angler would want - so whatever style of carp fishing you practice and the type of water you fish, there's a Dark Kamo Compac rod holder that's perfect for your needs.
The range includes everything from the standard 3-piece 12-foot version to less common configurations - including a model for those using 10-foot rods, which have become popular in recent years, particularly among younger anglers; to 5-piece 12-foot and 13-foot versions to meet the needs of those fishing on waters that allow four rods, or who like to carry spares, such as when travelling abroad.
All rod holders are made from highly durable, water-resistant Dark Kamo material that will stand up to heavy use, while extensive internal padding and dividers ensure that your rods and reels are protected as much as possible from damage and are suitable for even the largest reels and butt rings.
Dark Kamo Compac Rod Holdalls have been designed so you can start fishing as soon as you arrive at the lake, with a heavy-duty zipper giving you quick access to your rods, while landing nets, fishing rods and autres are stored in three external pockets along the spine of the holdall. Two additional rods - perfect for a marking rod and a spod rod - can also be stored on the outside (loose or in a rod sleeve), with pockets and straps to keep them in place. So, if you need to take a quick dip in the pool, you can do so almost instantly without having to unpack half your gear to do so.
Still with the aim of fishing quickly as soon as you arrive, there's also an external pocket for storing sinkers or autres, which is very useful if you're using a sinker clamp, Heli-Safe, or any other system where the sinker is removed at the end of the previous session when you wind up the reel - often when you've already put everything else away, they can be zipped into this pocket, ready for use on the next session fishing trip.
