This AIS antenna splitter has been designed so that the FM antenna of your boat has a dual function: VHF radio and AIS transceiver.
With this AIS antenna splitter, your boat's antenna will now be able to function as an FM radio as well as an AIS transceiver. You will be able to reduce power losses and make full use of your radio and AIS at the same time. This splitter is made up of electronic components designed to reduce power loss while using your radio and AIS.
The self-test function is integrated and allows you to verify the proper functioning of the device. In the event of an interruption or problem, the LED light will activate to alert you to a possible antenna failure. A "fail-safe" circuit is added to this device to ensure continuous operation of your VHF.
You can also connect an FM radio to your C-162 splitter.
