Description
The MiniPlex-3E-N2K is an NMEA multiplexer compatible Ethernet, combining data from up to 4 navigation instruments into 2 NMEA outputs (transmitter ports), and an Ethernet interface for connection to a computer. The Ethernet connection can co-exist, and data can be routed between the two interfaces. It also supports AIS andautres NMEA devices with high transmission speeds, up to 57600 baud.
EXCHANGES BETWEEN PERIPHERALS
Using a MiniPlex-3E-N2K multiplexer has major advantages:
Instrument data available via an Ethernet connection.
UDP and TCP data are exchanged between devices.
Tailored integration into an existing Raymarine SeatalkĀ® network.
Inputs are galvanically isolated.
Controls source, destination and transmission rate of NMEA phases.
Switching between navigation computer and navigation via GPS.
Switching between primary and secondary instruments in case of failure.
Direct connection to a port Ethernet, without problems.
It fulfills the Plug & Play function precisely.
NMEA2000 connection (Micro-C socket)
