The STR range is based on the mandrel from our Euro Carp range, allowing full compatibility for existing owners from tip to butt, while benefiting from the latest carbon technology to create rods that are simply a joy to use. The range consists of 5 rods sharing the same mandrel, making them fully interchangeable, as well as a brand new generation of top kits. The specifications when creating this range were: comfort, power, balance, compatibility, and precision, all achieved to create our best European rod range to date! We have developed new top kits for the Euro Carp STR rods with the key design concept being simplicity! With this in mind, the top kits of each rod in the range are identical, so whether you buy the 8.5m Edge rod or the high-end STR 1300, you know the top kits are of the same quality and fully interchangeable. The range includes 2 power kits of 290cm available in black or grey, a 3-piece version of 440cm also available in black for deeper venues, and a short 1-piece kit of 185cm that can be extended to 290cm using the short kit extension. Each top kit has depth markers at 1 cm intervals, essential for adjusting depths, lead patterns, and distances between float and connector. The 13m most powerful rod we have ever produced X really stands for Xtra strong! Despite its power, this rod is a pleasure to use and can be fished easily at its full length of 13m without needing a rod support. The STR X offers excellent value for money and comes with a complete spare parts pack including 3 power kits 2 and a shaping kit 2.
