Description
The Nydala Insulation Wool parka is a quiet windproof jacket made from soft wool. This material is advantageous because wool fibers provide warmth even when wet, and are self-cleaning. The jacket is very warm thanks to a double layer of insulation. The first layer consists of a Thermolite® EcoMade T-Down filling made of 100% recycled polyester from PET bottles. The second layer is Thermolite® fine padding in 35% recycled polyester and 65% polyester. The hood is removable and features a reinforced screen that can be easily adjusted with a strap. The waist, hem and cuffs can also be adjusted with straps and ropes. Inside the arms are inner cuffs with thumbholes to keep the cold out of the sleeves. An additional orange collar is added for visibility, but can easily be tucked in for a more subtle appearance. A pocket with integrated reflective tape adds to the safety features. The jacket closes with a two-way zipper that opens on both sides, and a magnetic button placket. Several pockets are provided, including two large front pockets, hand-warmer pockets with fleece lining, two chest pockets with radio antenna openings, a game pocket and two inside pockets. This jacket features attractive synthetic suede details and can be easily combined with a wide range of pants from the Pinewood collection.
