The new rods of the DL series definitely relegate the heavy and unwieldy carp rods to the past. They are characterized by their lightness, speed and superb robustness, ready to face very big fish. Thanks to this unique combination of maneuverability and strength, DL rods will certainly appeal not only to carp anglers but also to all anglers looking for a single rod that can do it all. DL stands for "Dual Length" in order to meet the regulatory requirements of a large number of carpodromes or commercial waters, namely fishing at exactly 11.50m or 13m. These lengths are achieved by using a mini-extension, but the latter has no negative influence on the action of the rod thanks to its new composition in very light carbon. Another innovation Browning is the shortened butt. As the rod is already relatively long thanks to the new 3.0m kit, a relatively court butt is all that is needed to reach 13m. As the name suggests, the 2ex-S Competition Carp DL is aimed at anglers who regularly compete in carp parks and commercial waters and who have very high expectations.
