The distinctive carbon weave seen on Bassterra Sea Bass is created by Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology, which increases power and strength in specific areas of the Full Carbon blank. In the lower section of the rod, it is used to generate the power needed to cast lures to fish feeding at a distance, or to take total control when fighting fish close to rocks and autres structures. In the tip section, the blank is highly responsive, making lure control more effective and fishing more enjoyable. Available in 4 models of medium, medium heavy and heavy actions, to cover all popular lure sizes for sea bass, from the smallest 6g lures to large 60g jerkbaits and metal jigs, the Bassterra is finished with Seaguide XOG stainless steel rings, a custom VSS reel seat and a split EVA handle.
