This is the eyelet version of the Super Wide Gape, ideal for Chod, Hinged rigs and Fluorocarbon D-Rigs. The Super Wide Gape is the result of extensive discussions with renowned carp consultants andautres. The idea that keeping the curve as open as possible in the construction of our rigs allows for better anchoring points is very common among carp anglers, and that's why we set out to design these hooks with a particularly generous curve, even more so than our Wide Gape and Stiff Rig series. So, here is the "Super Wide Gape", a hook with a long, wide and progressive curve, a sharpened re-entrant point ultra, a shape never before offered in our various ranges. Tests have shown that even on the most basic rigs, this hook is simply devastating. With such a wide opening, once the hook is sucked in by the carp there is a lot more tip exposed and therefore a much higher probability for a solid point anchor when the fish tries to spit out the rig. This assurance allows you to worry less about the mechanics of the rig and focus on where to present it.
