N-Gauge Specimen rods are a highly versatile range designed for the specialist, recreational and specimen angler targeting natural and commercial waters.
This latest range has been developed with 30- and 40-ton tensile carbon to create a progressive power action, meaning that the rods bend all the way through the blank and gradually gain power as the rods are bent, which is perfect for catching big fish. At the same time, the rods remain light, well-balanced and extremely comfortable to use. The SEA-GUIDE anti-tangle guides with fine Zirconia rings considerably reduce the risk of fine mono and braided lines becoming tangled on the butt guide during casting.
Our three double tip rods in the 1.25lb, 1.5lb and 1.75lb ranges are perfect for fishing with feeder and floats in rivers and still waters. Each double tip rod has a tubular tip with a smooth progressive action suitable for float fishing and fishing at feeder. The quiver top is supplied with two additional carbon quivers balanced with the test curve of each rod, suitable for all fishing at feeder on natural and commercial sites.
The final rod in the range is the powerful 2.25lb barbel rod whose action has been designed to fish large 4-5oz feeders on larger rivers such as the Trent, when the authority to cast and play highly combative fish is required.
