Description
This is a smaller version of the famous Stow reels, which were developed on the shores of Lake Elstow and have been used by many members of the Korda team for years. The principle of this reel is that it can be fished with lines stretched or slackened, and when you get a catch, the line comes off the clip on the side of the reel. For this to happen, the stainless steel ball chain it's mounted on must be the same length as your bite alarm, and a detachable connector system allows you to easily adjust it to be compatible with any alarm (it's set to the right length for use with an alarm such as the Delkim, or a similarly sized alarm). It comes with a stainless steel weight, but the 6g and 8g overweights, which are sold separately in the Stow line, can also be used with it. The Basix Mini Stow can be fitted with a Mini Isotope (available in seven different colors), and attaches to the underside of your bite alarm with a molded field hockey stick, into which the ball chain screws. It is available in a choice of red, green or blue.
