The team at Korda used Kontour for almost three years before its launch, to ensure that it was the best uorocarbon mainline available (and they used all the others over the years!). Kontour is only available in 12-pound breaking strength because, during this period of rigorous testing, the team decided that the 12-pound version was simply the best. As a result, it casts far better than most fl uorocarbons, allowing users to cast over 100 yards, which is rare for a fast-penetrating fl uorocarbon mainline.
