AIS SOTMA CLASS B TRANSPONDER
WideLink B600S is a Class B AIS SOTDMA transponder. the latest evolution in AIS technology. Its 5W transmission power, higher signal rate and professional-quality time-division management make the B600s a more advanced product overall than the Class B AIS standard based on the classic CSTDMA system.
The unit contains 1 VHF transmitter. 2 AIS receivers on 2 VHF channels and 1 MCU with advanced software-defined radio technology.
Its internal GNSS receiver with 50 channels is capable of processing GPS signals. Galileo. BeiDou and GLONASS signals with differential capability.
It receives DSC. time-sharing with AIS receivers. Its IPx7 waterproof case. shock and temperature resistant. is ideal for surviving in harsh marine environments. Card readers and PCs can be easily integrated via its NMEA2000. NMEA0183 or port waterproof USB. Its integrated data logger can record AIS data on a micro SD card in the most intuitive way.
The WideLink B600 converts NMEA 2000 instrument data into NMEA 0183 sentences. such as heading. speed. depth. temperature. wind. pressure. etc.
Thanks to the multiplexing function, sensor data as well as AIS and GPS information can be displayed on chart readers and PCs.

With an internal antenna splitter, the B600S can work with an existing antenna.
This makes installation of the AIS transponder much easier, as you simply plug the existing radio directly into the B600S instead of the antenna.
The splitter ensures that sufficient transmitting power is always available.
