PRO Minn Kota® batteries are specially designed for large electrical consumers. Based on the latest market technologies, they are the ideal choice for intensive, regular use of electric motors and electronic equipment in large units.
Unlike simple starter batteries, the acid in PRO Minn Kota® Calcium / Calcium technology batteries is captured by special, reinforced separators.
This manufacturing method ensures excellent slow and deep-discharge performance, and high capacity over a large number of cycles cycles.
PRO Minn Kota® batteries are also highly resistant to vibration, are watertight and have a "magic eye" voltage indicator.
Calcium / Calcium technology: The calcium battery is a lead-acid battery with no antimony in its grids. Instead, a calcium component (approx. 1%) is added to the positive and negative plates. This reduces water loss through gassing in the battery and allows the battery container to be fully sealed and maintenance-free.
