The relatively short lengths of the sections will fit comfortably in your car and can even be carried on public transport without too much trouble, but when put together they create a seamless progressive action that belies its construction. The Norden also has an understated, traditional appearance that will appeal to you if you prefer a classic casting rod rather than a modern bass-type rod.Although the Norden is at the lower end of the mid-price range, it nevertheless contains an impressive array of carbon technology. Thin blanks are made from high modulus carbon with HPC (High Pressure Carbon) and Nanosheet inclusion. The blanks are designed to create a progressive action, which covers a wide range of options, allowing the rods to be used for many different types of lure in their range of uses. This is a great advantage if you're fishing with just one rod in your arsenal. In the same esprit spirit of quality and performance, all models feature black XOG stainless steel guides, high-quality cork handles and a custom Shimano reel seat. The range includes 10 rods, with the lightest models really suited to perch and trout. The intermediate sizes are also suitable for pike-perch fishing and the two 3m+ lengths are perfect for heavier lures and larger pike-perch and pike.
