The organic fibre blanks in the "X10" series incorporate materials fromorigine such as plant fibres (cellulose microfibrils), giving these rods surprisingly high vibration-damping and shock-absorbing performance. This new type of material has a tensile strength that surpasses fibreglass in terms of strength, yet is much lighter. Megabass thus offers us a series of rods with a particularly smooth action without compromising on weight. Finally, the "Project X10" team aimed for sustainable manufacturing and the use of natural materials helps to reduce CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering to date, it is the most durable and functional. The "Medium fast" action of the F5-70XT will be ideal for light swimming jigs like the Uoze swimmer, but also for small spinnerbaits and bladed jigs with small paddles like the Maxx Blade from Raid Japan.
