The PowerPro braid is one of the world's leading braids, made from Spectra fiber, an incredibly round, smooth and sensitive line (a vast improvement over older braids).
Already a favorite of many anglers, its reputation is matched by its success. A structure round line made of SPECTRA fiber with surface treatment for a perfect glide, a resistance to abrasion rarely equaled, a perfect knot hold, don't look for an irreproachable braid... Available in 135m, 275m and 1370m
They are more resistant to abrasion than high carbon steel.
They are resistant to UV light.
They do not absorb water (and they float).
They have a very low elasticity compared to nylon or Dacron lines (like the comparison of steel wire to rubber bands).
