The Split Ring EX is a split ring that is almost twice as strong as a normal split ring. They are very interesting for small lures designed to catch powerful fish. For example, when fishing for tuna, small lures like the DUO Rought Trail Blazin are often used to imitate an anchovy or a small sardine. This type of lure is less than 10 cm long and needs to be equipped with broken rings in relation to its size but strong enough to take out tuna weighing 80/100 kilos without any problem. This is the strength of the split ring EX: an outstanding size/resistance ratio.
