Tiger Fish is a mix developed by the Sonubaits team. It's a blend of Tiger Nuts, pellets and fishmeals ground into a carp groundbait. It's a sweet-smelling mix that came about after various discussions and observations with specimen carp anglers, all of whom were convinced of the effectiveness of Tiger Nuts. When ground, Tiger Nuts release natural sugars and oils that make the mix sticky when mixed with water. This means it creates a sticky mix perfect for method feeder or for carrying extra particles and balling them up. It also creates an excellent margin mix when cut loose, creating a fine mat of crushed pellets and fishmeal as well as tiny crushed tiger nut particles, which really entices fish to dig in. Tiger Fish is part of a wider range of pellets and liquid flavourings, all of which can be used on their own or in conjunction withautres baits. Mixing instructions Tiger Fish is easy to mix. Empty the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, add 1 1/2 pints of water to the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave to stand for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. Then, for best results, to remove any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, strain the groundbait through a sieve and it's ready to use. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little. To avoid this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel, or if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
