Super Carp Method Mix Supercrush - 2kg (S0770012)Super Carp Method Mix was one of our first baits that has stood the test of time and is still popular today. It was designed for fishing carp specimens using the Method feeder, this is a heavy sticky mix that is full of pellets, fishmeal, corn and hemp that has been crushed together to create a bait that contains larger feeder particles that help the mix to break up to create a food rich feeding zone perfect for carp.Chris Ponsford says "For specimen carp on a method feeder there is no better bait, it's really sticky mixed on its own so I always add sweetcorn, cooked hemp, pellets or broken boilies to make it easier to break off the method feeder. It's full of ground pellets, hemp, corn and fishmeal, so adding these elements complements what is already there. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2 quart maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix well, then leave it for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a wet towel or if it dries out, just add a little more water and mix again.
