When blended, Match Method Mix Marine falls between "Original" and "Dark" in color, while the overall properties remain similar with the added appeal of sea halibut, making it a perfect mix for use with a float or feeder. Mixing instructions Match Method Mix is simple to mix. Empty the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-quart maggot tray with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave to stand for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. Then, for best results, to remove any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, strain the groundbait through a sieve and it's ready to use. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little. To avoid this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or store it in one of our 17-liter buckets used in conjunction with a bucket lid.
