SONU SO NATURAL - BLACK (1KG)With the resurgence of silverfish fishing on natural sites and commercial fisheries over the winter, we have decided that it is time to produce four new baits specifically for silvers.We have developed these baits in conjunction with some of the best silverfish anglers in the UK including Des Shipp, Lee Kerry, Steve Saunders, Mick Vials, Michael Buchwalder and Will Freeman.We took a fresh look at the market and decided to produce four new baits that can all be mixed straight from the bag or blended with the autres baits in the range to create a bespoke bait for a specific day on a specific site.Being able to mix them with each other autres was of great importance to all our anglers as natural sites change and so the bait needs to change to suit the conditions and methods of the day.In general, to create a heavier mix that breaks down more slowly in deeper water use So Natural River to strengthen the mix, for a darker mix with less food increase the amount of So Natural Black, for a more active and lighter mix increase the amount of So Natural Lake and for a softer mix with a higher food content increase the amount of So Natural Bream, the possibilities are truly endless.So Natural Black
This dark mix is perfect for rod and line or feeder on the canals or during the winter, it is a very fine groundbait with lots of very finely ground and sieved hemp seeds that creates a slow acting, dormant bait with low levels of food that binds well. It can also be used to darken any other So Natural blend. This mix has been particularly popular with canal anglers and has won many matches on various canals throughout the UK and Europe. Steve Saunders (manager of theAngleterre under 18's team) says: "It's a great mix for canals as it's thin and doesn't contain a lot of feed, you can control exactly what you put in. It binds well so whatever you mix with it, you can be sure that if you give a ball, it will go to the bottom taking all the food with it.
So Natural Black is simple to mix. Empty the 1kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 1 quart maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix well, then leave it for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a wet towel or if it dries out, just add a little more water and mix again.
