Equipped with an integrated 66-channel GPS receiver. and an integrated AIS receiver. this VHF will provide you with maximum safety.
Thanks to its integrated GPS antenna, the GX2400E is an invaluable aid to navigation, with the ability to store up to 250 waypoints and 30 routes. Waypoints can be selected and checked using the compass display. The GX2400E also features an integrated AIS receiver. AIS data can be transmitted to a chartplotter using the NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 protocol. The integrated VHF antenna coupler enables VHF and AIS reception using a single VHF antenna.
INTEGRATED RECEIVER GPS AND ASN CLASS D
The fixed VHF includes a 66-channel GPS WAAS receiver built into the front of the radio. This allows the VHF to be flush-mounted on the dashboard, while retaining GPS reception.
This feature allows you to benefit from GPS functions while complying with the new regulations in force since November 2018. View your navigation information (LAT/LON. SOG and COG) on the VHF screen.
Built-in DSC Class D: no matter which channel you use, this device is equipped with two receivers, one of which is dedicated to channel 70, so you won't miss any DSC (Digital Selective Calling) distress calls.
AIS RECEIVER AND GPS
A dual-channel AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby vessels equipped with an AIS transmitter. This helps you avoid collisions in crowded waterways.
AIS information can be superimposed on your GPS or compatible radar display.
An integrated GPS receiver ensures that your boat's position can be sent with DSC distress calls. even if the rest of your on-board electronics are switched off.

The GX2400E fixed VHF is also compatible with an optional remote handset. wireless or wired. to control all main radio functions remotely.
