The arrival in our factories of two new carbon technologies developed by our engineers at point has enabled us to rework our Tournament rods for sea bass fishing. The X-45 Full Shield (reinforcement of the entire blank) and the V-Joint Alpha (fine-tuned control of the point junction between tip and butt) have enabled us to reduce the diameter of our blanks while maintaining excellent precision and strength. As a result, these new Tournaments are perfectly balanced and extremely responsive both when casting and fighting. Every detail of the finish has been carefully chosen so as not to overload the rod and make each model both suitable and pleasant to use in fishing action. The M and MH actions are perfect for light scratch fishing, "finesse" applications on kayak as well as wading. HMH actions are an excellent compromise for anglers wishing to alternate between fishing with swimfish and soft lures. The stronger H actions allow you to fish with soft lures from a boat in the short versions or from shore in the longer models. The HXH action is ideal for long-range shore fishing with swimming fish (12/17cm) or small jigs casting when distance is a key point factor.
