The TX Extreme Spod Marker combines light weight with remarkable casting power, enabling you to reach the fishing area of your choice with spods of all sizes. When used with a float marker, the sensitivity gives excellent feedback on underwater features. The TX Extreme spod marker is the perfect rod if you do a lot of spodding, especially at long distances. The low weight and powerful back section help you generate exceptionally fast top speeds when casting, and it accommodates the largest spod sizes without being over-stressed. When using the marker float, the lightweight blank offers exceptional feel right in your hands for accurate underwater feature detection. The blank is fitted with depth marker wraps for added precision. The high-pressure carbon (HPC) blank met really puts the power in your hands and features a 3K carbon wrap up to the 5th ring for extra strength. The casting action is very similar to the Intensity actions of Tribal carp rods, which combine extreme power in the butt with a responsive tip section for a more rapide retrieve on casting. The result is an excellent combination for your spodding and marking needs. The addition of super-light PacBay CSV Minima rings (braid safe) really improves performance and you'll immediately notice the rod's responsiveness when using a marking float. You can choose between two models to suit your preferences - 12ft and 13ft. Both are rated with a 5lb test curve and ensure all the power you could wish for.
