And when you get an aggressive strike, especially when using surface lures, the rod's fighting action absorbs the pressure to avoid hook breaks or snags. To get the maximum distance from this masterpiece, and make fishing more controlled, we recommend using a spinning reel in size 4000, or one of the compact bodies in size 5000 to create optimum balance.At the heart of the Yasei Aspius is a Full Carbon Haut Module blank built with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist when casting, which not only increases casting distance, but also improves accuracy when casting to fish-holding structures such as bridge piers. Reducing blank twist also has benefits for fish play, as the fighting pressure is applied more directly along the length of the rod, increasing power and maintaining curve integrity.To further improve long-range casts and overall performance, the rod is fitted with newly designed Fuji Alconite K-type rings.
